If you read my previous post here, you would know that White Peaches are one of my favourite fruits.
They have a really nice fuzzy texture, with the prettiest rosy colour and are so sweet and juicy on the inside!
I would mostly munch on them raw. But it was also interesting and nutritious to combine them with other fruits and greens.
Without further ado… Here are the ingredients!
1 cup x Strawberries
1 cup x Blueberries
1 x Lemon (juiced)
1 x White Peach
2 heads x Bok Choy
1/2 cup drinking water
– Serves about 4 cups-
You must be thinking… Finally, a Green smoothie that’s not Green! 😀
This thick smoothie is a really simple recipe using sweet tasting berries that not only brings out the refreshing Peachy flavour, but also mask the Veggie taste pretty well. I also love the tartness after taste from the lemon juice.
I would think that this is perfect for a weekday breakfast because it requires very little preparations. To make it more filling, you can add in oats or chia seeds to give you sustainable energy so you don’t need to reach for that second coffee before lunch. In addition, this is choke full of amazing vitamins and antioxidant effects – great for boosting your immunity!
I hope the White Peach season don’t end so soon… I wanna get more!
